Maestra is an AI translation and transcription company, built by Katara Tech, Inc. It runs two apps on the same AI: Maestra Live, an AI interpretation platform that captions and translates meetings, conferences and events in real time, and Maestra AI, which transcribes, subtitles, translates and dubs audio and video files.
Maestra Live (live.maestra.ai) is for speech as it happens: attendees scan a QR code or open a room link and follow captions or an AI voice in their own language, in the browser. Maestra AI (app.maestra.ai) is for files: you upload audio or video, or paste a YouTube link, then edit and export transcripts, subtitles, translations and dubs.

Data sent to and from Maestra's infrastructure is encrypted in transit and secured at rest. Files are stored on Amazon Web Services servers in the United States, other infrastructure runs on Google Cloud, Maestra never sells your information to third-party marketers, and files you delete are permanently deleted from Maestra's servers. Card payments are handled by Stripe, so Maestra does not store card details.
